Celebrations & Parties Photography

Capturing
Joy & Love

Looking for a celebrations and parties photographer? I specialise in capturing birthdays, engagements, gatherings, and milestone events in a relaxed, documentary style that feels authentic, warm, and full of life.

From intimate celebrations to larger parties, I focus on real moments — laughter, conversation, connection, and atmosphere — rather than overly posed or staged imagery.

  • Special occasions go by quickly, and having thoughtful photography means you can relive the energy, people, and little moments that made the event special. Professional party photography also gives you a collection of images perfect for sharing with guests, posting on social media, and preserving memories for years to come.

For hosts, venues, and event organisers, high-quality imagery is also ideal for future promotion, websites, and marketing materials.

Documentary & Unobtrusive

I work in a calm, friendly, and unobtrusive way, blending into the background so guests can enjoy the event naturally. This allows me to capture genuine expressions, real laughter, and the true atmosphere of the celebration without interrupting the flow of the day.

This approach is especially suited to intimate celebrations, creative events, and people-focused gatherings.

  • While I’m based in Greater Manchester, I regularly travel across the North West and throughout the UK for workshops, training sessions, and events. I’m happy to support clients locally and further afield depending on the project.

  • Yes — many clients combine workshop documentation with team portraits or quick headshots.

  • Yes — I primarily work in a documentary style, but I’m always happy to capture relaxed group photos when requested.

Nat & Lou’s wedding party

After tying the knot in Beverly Hills, Nat & Lou celebrated back home in Stockport with a relaxed, USA-themed wedding party at This Godless Place — complete with fried chicken, burgers, and a room full of their favourite people.

Not every couple wants a traditional wedding day, and that’s where documentary celebration photography shines. If you’re planning a non-traditional wedding, after-party, or relaxed gathering with friends in Manchester or beyond, I’ll be there to naturally document the atmosphere, laughter, and real moments that make your celebration uniquely yours.

Rapha Manchester Awards Night

Each year, Rapha Cycling Club Manchester comes together to celebrate the people who make the community what it is — staff, volunteer ride leaders, and RCC members who show up ride after ride. The evening is filled with well-earned awards, from ‘Tough Luck’ and ‘Best Dressed’ to recognising newcomers and standout riders, all reflecting the spirit, humour, and camaraderie that define the club.

Although the clubhouse has now closed, the strength of the community is far from fading. As someone who lives and breathes cycling, it was a real pleasure to document an event so closely connected to my own lifestyle — capturing genuine moments of celebration, connection, and a shared love of riding that will continue well beyond the space itself.

Tell me what you’re celebrating!
